More Than a Hike to a Summit
You don’t need to be a hiker for this to be the right fit. Adventure describes the setting and the feeling, not a fitness requirement. A few examples of what it’s actually looked like (none of these required a strenuous hike):
The Summit
A sunset ceremony on top of Whiteface Mountain. Champagne at the summit. Down before dark, still in your dress.
The National Park
A short walk to the edge of Taft Point in Yosemite. Vows with El Capitan in the distance. No permits panic, we handled that ahead of time.

A quiet Adirondack overlook, just the two of you and whoever you brought along. No program, no seating chart. Just the view.

3-day Adventure Elopements
When one day isn’t enough to explore and experience everything your elopement location has to offer, we’ll document your 3-day elopement adventure experience. For some couples, that means combining an adventure with a micro-wedding experience. For other couples, it’s exploring more trails and scenic views than you could in a few hours.

The Things Couples Ask Us First
What counts as an adventure elopement?
Any elopement where the setting itself is part of the experience: a mountain summit, a national park, a coastline, a road trip through somewhere you’ve always wanted to see. It describes the setting and the feeling, not a fitness level.
Sometimes that means a long hike or overnight backpacking trip. Other times it’s 4×4’s or paddle boarding through glaciers. Maybe even a scenic helicopter tour.
The goal is a wedding day that feels like an epic adventure as the official start to your lifelong adventure together.
Do we have to hike?
No, definitely not. Even a lot of our mountaintop elopements involve a short walk to a scenic overlook, not a steep ascent up a summit. Some scenic views require zero effort whatsoever. Tell us what kind of physical effort feels right for you and we’ll help you find a location that matches it.
Can an adventure elopement also be a destination or luxury elopement?
Yes. Adventure describes the feeling, not a separate category. A national park elopement is often a destination elopement too, and a private mountain property can be both adventurous and luxurious.
Do you help with permits and logistics?
Yes. Planning guidance is built into every elopement – location scouting, permit research, timeline development, and support leading up to your day. You don’t need to have any of it figured out before you reach out.
Do you offer video?
Yes. Photography is the foundation of every elopement, and cinematic film can be added.
How far in advance should we book?
The sooner the better, especially for a specific location or permit-dependent destinations, but we sometimes work with couples on shorter timelines too. It never hurts to ask.
