Who Are Dan & Laura?
We’re Dan and Laura, a husband-and-wife photography team based near Philadelphia, known for encouraging couples to prioritize their relationship over anyone else’s expectations.
In 2016, we had our own wedding. It was large, stressful, and we barely spent any time together. The day everyone else expected, not one that felt like us. That’s exactly why there’s no day in your life that deserves more focus on each other than this one, and why we do this work the way we do.
“They made the whole process such a joy from start to finish. Dan walked me through all the details, gave recommendations, and answered my many questions. On the day of our elopement, they were such a ray of light. At some point in the day, it felt like they became part of our family.”

Questions
The Things Couples Ask Us First
What's included in the starting investment?
Every commission includes planning collaboration, full-day photography coverage, a personally edited gallery, preview images within days of your celebration, and personal print rights, with photographer travel built into your proposal.
How does travel work?
Our proposals include our photographer travel costs, so you won’t get a separate airfare, hotel, or mileage bill later. The total commission amount can vary with destination, event scope, and number of days.
What if we're somewhere between an elopement and a full wedding?
That’s exactly what Intimate & Micro Weddings are for. If you’re not sure which fits, reach out and we’ll help you figure it out honestly. We love helping couples weigh the options and make a choice they feel confident about.
Do you require a wedding planner?
For weddings with 50 or more guests, and for celebrations involving significant destination or multi-day logistics, yes. We require a professional planner to be part of the team so everyone can focus fully on what they do best. If you haven’t chosen one yet, we’re happy to recommend planners who may be a good fit.
A venue coordinator typically focuses on the venue itself, so depending on the scope of your wedding, we may still require a dedicated professional planner.
How does booking work?
We always start with a meeting to be sure that we are a good fit to work together. If not, we will happily tell you (we’d rather refer you well than book you wrong). To officially book, a signed agreement and retainer secures your date. From there, we handle the planning collaboration so you can focus on everything else.
Can we add film, albums, or extra events?
Yes. Engagement sessions, additional wedding events, heirloom albums, and cinematic film can all be added, either when you book or afterward.
How many photographs will we receive?
Every gallery captures your full experience, delivered as a thorough collection documenting the entirety of your day, not a fixed number of images. Our goal isn’t to hit a quota; it’s to give you all the moments that actually matter.
