Wedding Photography in Lake Placid, NY

Last year, during one of our engagement shoots, a man approached us and asked if we were wedding photographers. He told us that his daughter was looking for photography for her wedding in Lake Placid, NY.

Jessica had already booked a local photography team (contract and everything!), but the photographers ended up cancelling on them.

We gave her dad our contact information, and by the end of the day we received an email from Jessica. She asked if we would be able to share more about our wedding packages and meet up to discuss details. Of course, we suggested our favorite coffee shop in the ADKs – Old Mountain Coffee.

We met up with Jessica and Paul and talked with them for TWO HOURS about their upcoming wedding in Lake Placid, shared our frustration that other wedding photographers in the Adirondacks would cancel on a client, and spent some time getting to know each other.

We immediately knew that they would be amazing to work with.

Of course, we were super excited when, a few days later, Jessica emailed us saying they would love to book us as their wedding photographers!

A few months later, we did their engagement session on Whiteface Mountain (about 20 minutes from Lake Placid) and a couple other meaningful locations, and we had a blast getting to know them more. They were some of the sweetest clients we have ever worked with, and we were so pumped for their wedding.

Fast forward to this January, we photographed their wedding and were blown away at how caring and sincere everyone in her family was. The entire wedding was such a special celebration of Jessica and Paul, their relationship with each other, and their relationships with all of their guests.

We had fun with a few of the photos, and edited them with a vintage style. Check them out below!
